QTVR Panoramas - Development Process
|
|
Successful and efficient development of QTVR panoramas requires a certain discipline and understanding of the overall development process. At its most basic level, this process can be divided into three stages. The details for each stage are discussed in the associated sub-section.
Plan - The user experience is determined, story boards are produced, panorama specifications are created, and a production timeline and budget are prepared.
Capture Images - The source images for the panoramas are captured or created. The tasks here will depend on whether you use photographic, videographic, or computer-generated image technologies.
Create the QTVR Panorama - The source images are digitized and merged into a single panoramic Pict image using the QTVR tools. The panoramic Pict image is further processed and compressed before being transformed into the final QTVR panorama. This stage reflects the main computer-based tasks of QTVR panorama production.
