QTVR Objects - Development Process
|
|
Successful and efficient development of QTVR objects requires a certain discipline and understanding of the overall development process. At its most basic level, this process can be divided into three stages:
Plan - The user experience is determined, story boards are produced, object specifications are created, and a production timeline and budget are prepared.
Capture Images - The source images for the objects are captured or created. The tasks here will depend on whether you use photographic, videographic, or computer-generated image technologies.
Create the QTVR Object - The source images are digitized and organized in the proper sequence frame-by-frame in a QuickTime movie format. The QuickTime movie may be further processed and compressed before conversion into the final QTVR object. This stage contains the main computer-based tasks of QTVR object creation.
