Creating QTVR Objects - Create the Final QTVR Object

This step converts the object's QuickTime movie to a QTVR format. The completed object movie is created, ready for playback in any QTVR-aware application, in an authored multimedia title, or on the world wide web.

Creating the object occurs in the QTVR Authoring Studio, where you will specify:

• the object type (and type of cursor)
• the duration (time base) of the frames in the object's movie
• the number of vertical and horizontal positions
• the number of view states
• the animation specification for any animated views
• the scalability setting and scaling factors
• the compression/quality setting
• the poster view position

All specifications can later be edited if necessary to adjust the various settings.
